Combined with this picture, you should get some idea. If the video edits well, I'll post it up.

Good-looking Tacoma! What is the model and width of those Goodyears? How many inches of lift? I may be trading my 4wd Tundra AC for a Taco 4-door soon, and want to go for a similar setup. I've always liked narrower tires/moderate lift look way better than fat tires/big lift/wheel spacers that are so common in my area.

They're Wrangler Duratracs in 245/75/16 I believe. It's supposedly about a 3" lift, but it's probably more like 2-2.5" by now.

Except for a few bangs and high-centers, the ride height is pretty good for the trails I go on. Narrow tires are definitely better for it, too. I went through some legitimately deep snow on this run, and even when I purposefully goosed the throttle as a lark, they held fast. Wonderful tires from what I've seen so far.

Next set will probably be closer to 255/85/16, though. These just look a bit too small to me. Might require some trimming to get them to clear everything, though.

My advice: Get the good stuff when it comes to suspension. I went with the fairly cheap Toytec lift, and while there's nothing wrong with the quality of the components, the coilovers are now completely unadjustable, even with 5' of leverage, and the ride quality off-road is... punishing. Some Icon or King shocks are on the list.

Also, the supercharger is almost worthless. Got it hoping that it would allow my truck to actually maintain highway speed (80) at my elevation (7000+), but it barely made a difference.

Also, try to get one with the off-road package. Not having locking diffs anywhere gets old REALLY fast.

Where at in the country are you? I'd guess southern colorado, taking that landscape and elevation into account.

I run 275/75/16 Wrangler with Kevlar on my rig, the kevlar lined side walls are nice as I don't have to worry about rocks as much when I'm climbing through a river bed. Great tires even if they're a little pricey
